Molina Healthcare said it won’t get a long-term services and support contract to serve in Indiana’s Pathways for Aging program.
The health care company said in a regulatory filing Monday the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration said the state doesn’t intend to offer a contract.
The contract wasn’t material to the company’s results and it backed its 2024 premium revenue outlook.
The company said it lost the contract because it didn’t have a required dual-eligible special needs plan available in Indiana by Jan. 1, 2024.
Molina said it was unable to provide the plan because of an “administrative requirement” of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
Molina said no other Medicaid contracts had been affected by CMS proceedings.
