DUBOIS – Penn Highlands Healthcare welcomes emergency medicine physician Christopher Glynn, MD, MBA, to its medical staff.

Dr. Glynn joins the teams in the emergency departments at 100 Hospital Road in Brookville, 100 Hospital Ave., in DuBois, and 763 Johnsonburg Rd., in St. Marys.

Dr. Glynn provides highly skilled care for patients experiencing severe and life-threatening injuries and illnesses. When expert care is needed most, Dr. Glynn is close to home.

Common treatments and procedures include symptoms of a heart attack, including chest pain and shortness of breath; symptoms of a stroke, including face droopiness, arm weakness and slurred speech; broken bones that pierce the skin or cause severe pain; difficulty breathing; loss of consciousness; severe abdominal pain; severe allergic reaction; uncontrolled bleeding; sudden, severe headache; and other serious illnesses or injuries.

Dr. Glynn graduated from American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in Cupecoy, Sint Maarten. He earned his MBA from the University of Maryland University College in Adelphi, Md. He completed his residency in emergency medicine at Riverside Health System in Newport News, Va.
